Court: Hugo Salm was resident of CSR, family can make restitution

The constitutional court recognized the died count Hugo Salm as the Czechoslovak resident. A way to stake claims of seven thousand hectares of land in Blansko region was opened for his heirs. It concerns for example forests in Moravian Karst or the castle Rájec nad Svitavou. The constitutional court violated by its decision a verdict of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, that Salm was not the Czechoslovak resident, as well as a later confirming verdict of the Supreme administrative court.

Pithart fights against wood-engraver

A vice-president of the Senate Petr Pithart officially called by a letter upon the Prime Minister Jiří Paroubek to help to stop a reputedly mad conception of nature conservation in Šumava. Pithart does not like that the present management of the Sumava national park does not cut the by the wood-engraver attacked trees in the most valuable reservations and intends to let a part of Šumava without any human interference. The senator, who as a former chairmen of the Czech government established the Šumava park in 1991, is confident that Šumava forests should underlie, the same as hundred years ago, to a so called cultural servicing.

Government interrupted negotiations about loan of two milliard from PGRLF

The government interrupted a negotiation about a loan of two milliard crowns from the Subsidiary and guarantee agricultural and forest fund to the State agricultural intervention fund today. The state wants to use the money to end up direct payments of farmers to roughly 58 percents of the level in the former EU-15. The direct payments represent key agricultural supports. The state can 30 % dotations from the EU end up from own resources to 60 percents this year. This increase was required by farmers. However, the Ministry of Agriculture has money for only about 50-percent direct payments in its budget, that´s why it looks for other resources in its resort.

Get money for education and new orchard

Not only the European Union offers money for support of agriculture. Interested people can apply also for means provided from national resources. However, they have to take into account terms in which the application for a support should be prepared and put forward. In many dotation titles a term for proposal of all needed documents will expire at the end of September; therefore it´s high time for documents and applications preparation.
