Britain suggested spreading of price decrease of sugar into four years

A price decrease of sugar and sugar beet in the EU approximately by two fifths should be spread instead of into two years into four years from the season 2006/07. This proposal of a presiding British Ministress Margaret Beckett was heard in an introduction of the meeting of the EU Ministers of Agriculture on a sugar reform. The British also suggested increasing of aid for producers who will decide for a trade from sugar-refinery branch; this restructuring fund should be financed by the industry itself. “On the first sight the proposal seems to be acceptable but it is important so that it will not become softer in next rounds”, said a state secretary of the Czech Ministry of Agriculture Miroslav Toman.

Kyselka will soon face other auction

A dilapidated former spa premises in West-Bohemian Kyselka will be for sale for minimally sixteen and half million crowns on the fifth January. A creditor´s committee will offer the devastated objects including the colonnade Otta´s spring, the same as in August, in Prague salesroom Naxos. “We published a new selective procedure with an auction. A minimal price will be sixteen and half million crows”, confirmed a caretaker of bankrupt´s estate Viktor Liška.

Minister of Agriculture Jan Mládek called a meeting of presidium of Land Fund for today

The Minister of Agriculture Jan Mládek called a meeting of the Land Fund presidium for today. The presidium obliges the chairman of the fund executive committee to realize all necessary steps to brought legal actions to determine a property right of the Czech Republic and the invalidity of transfer contracts closed in the period from 7.6.2005 till 1.7.2005 including, according to the law 229/91 Col. which were not entered in the real estate register. It means that the fund will sue for contracts which it closed in the mentioned period.

Land Fund will sue for contracts

The Land fund will sue for contract about land transfers which it closed this year in summer during a so called special regime when subdealers gained land from it. “The fund presidium obliged the chairman of the executive committee to make all necessary steps to enter a lawsuit”, the Ministry of Agriculture reported. The Fund will sue for the contracts by the Law on land from the period from the 7th June till the 1st July which were not entered in the real estate register. The fund faced a criticism that it enabled to businessmen to gain lucrative pieces of land in Prague environs and in other places inland.
