PGRLF sues for invalidity of Setuza stocks transfers to Český olej

According to information of the ČTK the Subsidiary Guarantee Rural and Forestry Fund (PGRLF) sues for invalidity of a transfer of 38,3 percent of Setuza stocks to the company Český olej. The fund came to a conclusion that some conditions of the contract of the share sale were broken and at the beginning of year it informed the second side that it withdraws from the contract. If Český olej recognized this step, it would have to return the stocks and it would got back the sum which it had paid for them. However, the firm refused the withdrawal and its reasons. That’s why PGRLF proceeded to the legal proceedings.

“We want more young farmers”, Czech ministers of agriculture claims for a long time. However, the tax system does not confirm their words. Although in the Czech Republic the same as in EU countries a generation exchange of older managing farmers is desirable, entrepreneurial conditions in our country do not enable it in effect.

Ambrozek wants to stop wave of rubbish by a regulation

Thousands tons of German waste will start to wander from the Czech Republic back to the country of their origin. It is promised at least by the Minister of Environment Libor Ambrozek (KDU-ČSL), who had agreed on it with the German opposite Siegmar Gabriel. According to Ambrozek, a new regulation should prevent the change of the CR into a European dumping ground. According to it, solely the Ministry of Environment will approve import of separated waste for a secondary use. “It is dealt with an outer solution but we believe that it will help”, the Minister hopes.

It was possible to avoid the sanction for milk

It was possible to avoid fines for exceeding milk production which some Czech farmers should pay. It is confirmed by the spokeswoman of the State Agricultural Intervention Fund, Jitka Sluková. According to her farmers are informed regularly from the side of fund that farmers are in a threat of fines for a higher milk production (exceeding of individual milk quota). Beside that a farmers can increase his/her quota by a purchase of a part or a whole quota of other milk producer.
