KRNAP will reduce access in some areas in Krkonoše next week
The administration of Krkonoše National Park (KRNAP) is going to reduce access in parts of Krkonoše due to protection of some areas against invasions of blueberries pickers from July 30. The regulation which will be in force till half of October will not limit tourists who use tourist tracks and cycle tracks. Radek Drahný, a spokesman of the administration of KRNAP informed about it ČTK today.
France estimates again heavy harvest of vine this year
French vine growers have not sold all wine from the last year yet and they can estimate other extraordinary harvest. According to first judgements about 53,6 million of hectoliters of wine will be produced in France this year and experts predict that thanks to sunny weather prevailing from the beginning of April wine will be of first quality again. However, the new huge harvest brings also worries to producers because there is still a lot of unsold wine from the last year in cellars. This year’s supposed production is on the same level as in the last year. Sunny weather will apparently fasten also the harvest which could starts already in the first decade of August in Mediterranean areas and surrounding of Bordeaux, AFP agency wrote.
Harvest in Vysočina will start at the end of month; yield will be probably average
Harvest in Vysočina will start mostly at the end of month; the course will depend on weather. Farmers estimate rather average harvest of cereals. Perennial growths were damaged during long winter; a part had to be ploughed under. Weather has been quite favourable since spring, however, in last weeks in some places of region there was a lack of water. There were also rainstorms otherwhere, ČTK founded out today.
Hypermarkets will cheapen chocolate next week
Chocolate, bonbons, coffee, tea, spices and also see fruits can cheapen as much as by 14 percent. A new law will come in force on Saturday which shifts all foods with the exception of alcohol in lowered 5-percent VAT tariff. Customers are waiting whether their price decreases. Hypermarkets affirm that they will reflect the lower tax in process, although change of process will take place gradually. “Since July 18 all goods in Hypernovas will have been changed in price. It concerns more than a thousand of items. In A lberts about 80 percent of assortment will be changed in price on July 21 and the rest will be changed in price at the latest till other week”, Libor Kytýr from the company Ahold said.
