Number of wild-boars is smaller

Outbreak of wild-boars about which farmers complained still last year does not repeat in Vyš kov region this year. Meanwhile hunstsmen reports only small hunts and damages in fields are insignificant. However, maybe the reason is rather less areas of corn popular for wild-boars. “In our hunting district we have until now shot five or six pigs. At present they are not here, because there is not corn anywhere. Places where wild animals have nothing to eat we call hungry fields. Other reason is maybe decrease of number of pieces as well”, said the mayor of Brankovice Josef Hlaváč who is at the same time the chairman of local hunting association Litava. Similar situation is also in other hunting associations. Only three one-year old pigs were shot for example by huntsmen from Vyškov association.
