Open letter to District Agrarian Chamber Havlí˙k˙v Brod on natural fertilizers problems

Request for help in solution of measure connected with a change of natural fertilizers to dangerous substances. As natural fertilizers were transferred from objectionable substances to dangerous ones this change will have huge impacts for subjects dealing with them and storing them. First of all it will mean examinations of impermeability of tanks, pipelines and means of transport of natural fertilizers; 1 times in 5 years and probably other impacts from it resulting, including a possibility of withholding some dotations when breakages are found and imposed examinations are not realized. Impacts of this change can have far-reaching consequences and can mean simpler solution into the future, e.g. a leaving of some subjects from animal production.

Reaction of Lesy CR to Common declaration from the 29th of November 2006

1.1 All steps of Lesy CR are always realized conceptually, expertly, with discretion, with regard to the Lesy CR activity character –i. e. administration of entrusted property. All steps are performed with ordinary care.

SVA calls attention to changes in regulations on animal transport

The State Veterinary Administration of the CR (SVA) again calls attention to changes in animal protection during transport and connected activities. Josef Duben, the spokesman of SVA reminded it today with reference to the fact that on the 5th of January 2007 the Council regulation (EC) No. 1/2005 will come in force in all EU countries, i.e. in the Czech Republic, on animal protection during transport and connected activities. One of the changes resulting from this regulation is necessity to exchange a certificate of professional qualification of a transporter transporting animals and certificates of a person transporting animals issued on base of § 8k par. 3, the law No. 246/1992 Col., for protection of animals against ill-usage, for new certificates of qualifications for drivers and attendants according to art. 17, par. 2 of the above mentioned Council regulation.

Czech Christmas in Brussels – promotion of Czech foods

An action Czech Christmas in Brussels which will take place in the building of Permanent representation of the CR in the European Commission today early evening should contribute to promotion of our food abroad. As Tá˙a Králová, the spokeswoman of the Ministry of Agriculture informed today, Czech cuisine with traditional X-mass menu and food with the national mark KLASA will be presented at the action. The meeting will be participated by significant personalities of diplomatic corps, representatives of the European Commission, offices seating in Brussels, non-governmental organizations and representatives of agrarian sector.
