Black Sea coast fights with ecological disaster

Hundreds of Russian soldiers started to clean Black Sea coast in Krasnoyarsk Krai at Kerc strait where a tanker broke apart in a weekend storm. According to today's information as much as 3000 tons of black oil could get in the sea; more than 10 kilometers of beaches were contaminated, and a blotch reminding a rock oil one moves towards the Sea of Azov. A chief of Russian agency of conservation of nature Rosprirodnadzor, Oleg Mitvol, said that over 700 people, mainly soldiers, clean the beaches. Their work is made harder by very unfavourable weather. Again a storm rages in the area and a wind reaches speed of 140 kilometers in hour.

Veleba: Demonstration is unavoidable

Negotiation between agricultural leaders who mind low buy-out prices of pig meat and the Minister of Agriculture Petr Gandalovič ended in failure. “I call together a critical staff to this Friday when an organization of demonstration on the 23rd of November from 10 o'clock in front of the Ministry of Agriculture will be discussed in details” Jan Veleba, the president of Agrarian Chamber reported for the server iHNed.cz. “We did not come to an agreement. The demonstration is unavoidable”, Jan Veleba said.

Setting of tariffs for SAPS and Top-Up for 2007

The Ministry of Agriculture of CR set tariffs for unified payment per area (SAPS) and national additionally payments (Top-Up) for the year 2007. In SAPS a tariff per one hectare of agricultural land was set to 101,3905 EUR, i.e. 2 791,50 CZK/ha. Tariffs for national additional payments Top-Up for the year 2007 are shown in a table.

Czech towns will get money for sewage plants from EU, however, some of them less

Towns which strive for money from the European Union for building of sewage plants and for other water-management projects probably will not get up to the finances thanks to an agreement between the Czech Republic and the EU. They can get significantly less money for some projects than they originally anticipated. It results from details of an agreement which CTK knows from several undependent sources.
