We will not get land, court said to big speculator
A restitution stop, whose aim is to prevent speculations with state land, hit one of the most known speculator and Prague real-estate magnate Miloš Červenka. Constitutional judges decided that he is not entitled to own pieces of land in Prague Modřany which he had wanted to obtain thanks to made-over claims from direct restituents. Obviously it is dealt with a first contention between a big land businessman who was very successful in negotiations with the Land Fund in contrast to direct restituents and who ended definitively in the Constitutional Court.
Classical swine fever in Slovakia
In area of south Slovakia around Levice again classical pig fever has been found out. On base of information, which the State Veterinary Administration CR has disposable, no consignment aimed from this area in the CR, therefore there is no danger from this direction. However, in this connection it is necessary to notice that despite the fact that the Czech Republic is devoid of the classical pig fever, the last occurrence in boars has been found out in 1999, an attention is still paid to this unpleasant and dangerous infection. Just regarding the fact that cases of occurrence of classical pig fever still appear from time to time in neighbouring countries, for example in Germany.
According to CR subvention for export of pork will not solve situation on market
Export subvention for pig meat which was suggested by French delegation at today's Council of Ministers of Fishing in EU in Luxembourg according to CR will not solve the situation on pork market. In last months similar requirements were proposed for example by a delegation from Poland and Germany; our representatives tried to enforce more conception measure from side of the European Commission.
BBC: China is the biggest contaminator of the world
China has outrun the USA and has become the biggest contaminator of the world. A report by California scientists which will be published next month alleges it. According to scientists China emits much more emissions of greenhouse gases than was expected. China has obviously outrun the USA sometimes in 2006 or 2007, an internet news service BBC writes. A team from California University wants to publish its study in a magazine Journal of Environment Economics and Management. Scientists warn that uncontrolled growth in China can destroy any reduction of greenhouse gases for which rich states endeavour in frame of Kjótó protocol.
