Prices at the end of holiday grew the most slowly this year

In August inflation decreased to 6,5 percents year-on-year from 6,9 percents in July. It is the lowest this year´s growth. Prices of foods, beverages and services in transportation increased more slowly than the last month. The numbers were published by the Czech Statistic Office (ČSÚ) on Monday. “Of foods it mentioned above all growth in prices of fruit to 3,7 percents from more than ten percent in July and prices of meat to 4,4 percents (from 5,5 percents in July)”, ČSÚ reported. Also decrease in prices of fuels had a significant share in the lower number.

Sewerage plant is more economic than wastewater trap

Who is joined to a public sewerage system has the only duty: to pay for it. However, where this possibility does not exists or where the costs for building of a service connection would be too high, it is necessary to liquidate sewage water by the help of wastewater trap or to build own purification of sewage waters. What to choose? It depends mainly on keeping today´s very strict rules for water management. Still more and more owners of houses, especially new buildings, prefer small house sewerage plants. For example one of Prague firms dealing with projection and building of such house sewerage plants put into operation as many as seventy sewerage plants yearly against a half three years ago.

There no proofs for objectionability of genetically modified organisms

Scientists have none proofs that foods from genetically modified organisms have some harmful impacts on human health. It results from a study of Joined Research Centre (JRC), so an advisory scientific body of the European Commission. The study conclusion of which should be officially presented next week is according to the last issue of paper European Voice in this direction concordant with foundations of the World Health Organization (WHO) and the European Food Safety Association (EFSA). JRC statement was required by Euro-representatives some time ago.

According to a chairman of International Panel for Climatic Changes (IPCC) of UNO everyone can help in fifth against global warming. How? Giving up to eat meat. It is an idea of Indian scientist Rádžendr Pačaurí who now started a second six-year in head of IPCC. According to UNO meat production emits more greenhouse gases in the atmosphere which warm the planet that the transportation. The transportation is responsible for 13 percent of world emissions, meat consumption only for 18 percents.
