Politicians debate about milk. Children prefer coke

The youngest generation does not much care for milk. Children would preferably take chips, chocolates and caffeine drinks for school snacks. A declaration of the Minister Petr Gandalovič that the government would not renew a national support of “school” milk consumption sounded at first hearing almost catastrophically. In fact, nothing terrible happens. School directors in east Bohemia see the actual reality: “Let it is cheap or more expensive, there is not interest in milk and milk products. “There´s hardly two gulp of it, I would drink a liter”, Jiří, a pupil of nine class says. “I would prefer two liters of coke”, his schoolmate Stanislav B. opposed. Even in our inquiry in school in Hradec Králové it seemed that coke would be in greater demand.

Bio-flood strenghtens

Czech bio-product markets falls considerably behind west Europe and the USA, however, despite the fact it fast draws. Bio-foods are more expensive against others. However, consumers are allured by quality and considerateness within their growing, production and processing. Growth of level of living and income level plays a significant role, of course, in customers behaviour. Producers and sellers flexibly react to interest trend in these foods. Bio is a relatively quickly developing lifestyle, which swept down from a scene the former promoted health lifestyle connected with vegetarianism or macrobiotics. However, in contrast to them it is dealt with a trend support of which is significantly under a baton of state support in the propagation area.
