Unsure subsidies

The Program of Rural Development of the Ministry of Agriculture (PRV) after its start three years ago has got slowly in a half of its existence. Many projects have been without doubt successfully realized and it is possible to state objectively and ambiguously already now that considerable means, about which we even did not dream a couple years ago (and it is necessary to point out that many colleagues-farmers even in more developed parts of the world do not dream about nor now), have been pumped in technologies and building. A considerably more controversial could be an evaluation for example of efficiency of some subsidy titles or a distribution of means into particular chapters determined in the very beginning of PRV.

Reputedly, when the European Union does not even-up conditions among new and old EU member states, demonstration and protests will appear. Farmers from the Czech Republic stand in head of “rebels”. According to calculations, Czech farmers get in subsidies and various supports roughly eleven thousand crowns per one hectare. It is approximately by a half less than Austrians and by about a third than Germans.
