Zetor has not succeeded with almost billion accusation of Ministry of Finances
Slovak group HTC Holding, whose pearl is the tractor producer Zetor in Brno, lost a lawsuit with the Ministry of Finances for alleged faults within privatization of the biggest domestic tractor producer. The action started two years ago. The group HTC, whose auctioneer among others is also Slovak billionaire Martin Blaškovič, asked the state to pay 829 383 243.39 crowns for that it was deceived at Zetor privatization in 2002. “Yesterday, an action in court took place in the mentioned affairs on which the accusation was rejected to the full extent”, a spokesman of the Ministry of Finances Radek Ležatka stated.
Vaccination against BT only voluntary from April 28
Yes, it is truth, thanks to understanding of the Ministry of Agriculture of the CR (MZe ČR) there has been an obligatory vaccination against catarrhal sheep fever, or bluetongue, for more than three years. According to en expert attitude of EU veterinary authorities a vaccination has a sense if it takes place at least for three years and thanks to means secured by MZe ČR also a spring vaccination run over at the beginning of fourth year.
State Agricultural and Food Inspection closed shop Ahold in Prague owing to mice
Prague Inspectorship of State Agricultural and Food Inspection (SZPI) closed a shop Ahold Czech Republic, a.s. on the addresse Cíglerova 1139, Prague 9 today after a finished check. Inspectors found out dead mice in the premise spaces under pallets and also an amount of mouse dropping on the sales area and on shelves with packaged foods. After an agreement with management of the company Ahold, next inspection will take place on the 29th of April morning.
Farmers will not gain right for preferential purchase of land for the present
Farmers, who manage on state agricultural land, will not gain preferential right for its purchase for the present. The government decided to postpone a decision about appropriate amendments of acts at its today´s meeting. “There are doubts about compatibility with European law”, the Premier Petr Nečas (ODS) told. Amendments, which were discussed by the government today, should have avoided so that the land would be bought by person as the first who do not operate agricultural production. According to the Premier Nečas the appropriate amendments will be examined also from a viewpoint of European law.
