Senate approved introduction of time limit for land ownership clarification

Obviously till the end of 2012 at the latest, people will be able to claim at court to clarify land ownership and especially ownership of agricultural land in the present restitution disputes. It concern cases in which the Land Office did not recognize a proprietary claim of restituents to the land. A senate amendment about ownership of land and other agricultural property, whose adoption was confirmed by the Senate today, counts on the introduction of time limit. The norm which will come in force at the beginning of July next year should be signed by the president now.

Ministry of Environment announced proposal for declaration of CHKO Kokořínsko - Máchův kraj

The Ministry of Environment distributes an announcement about a proposal for enlargement of the Protected Landscape Area Kokořínsko by a part around Doksy with a new name CHKO Kokořínsko - Máchův Kraj in these days. In this area, 96 especially protected species of plant and 163 especially protected species of animals occur. “The aim of enlargement of CHKO by the area of Máchův kraj (Mácha´s region) is to unify and to make more efficient the nature preservation on the territory unique scientifically and regarding the landscape. Thanks to enlargement of the protected landscape area, moreover, the administrative will be simplified - today, several institution which have the nature preservation in charge works at the same time”, the minister Tomáš Chalupa tells.

Other eight Moravian-Silesian foods obtained quality mark

Other eight food products obtained the mark Regional Food of Moravian-Silesian Region. They can use it for example producers of sausages and smoked products, cabbage, milk and hydromel. By this appraisal the Moravian-Silesian region wants to support regional producers. ČTK was informed on it by a spokeswoman of the regional office Šárka Vlčková. The former list of six products, which obtained the indication from the region in the first year of competition, was completed with mini-sausages of the company Beskydské uzeniny, Trefilova masopustní klobása (Trefil´s carnival sausage) produced by the firm Vladimír Hájek from Frýdek-Místek, fresh milk full-cream from Ekomilk, and baked “mrkvánky” from Beskyd Fryčovice.

7 pct cereals have been harvested in Central Bohemian, harvest were stopped by rain

Farmers in Central Bohemian have harvested seven percents of cereals till this time. Meanwhile, a yield per hectare amounts about 4.8 tonnes which is a slightly below average. However, works now stand owing to rainy weather, a directress of a regional agrarian chamber Zlata Koukolíčková said to ČTK today. “Of course, the harvest has stopped and nobody knows how long it would rain. If the rainy weather lasts for a long time, so, understandably, the quality of food cereals could worsen”, Koukolíčková warned. “Let´s hope that it would rain only several days and would not last for example for fortnights without let-up”, she added. According to a meteorological forecast strong rains should hold on till the next week.
