Fifteen helps to milk

In the second half of last year, the Agrarian Chamber of the CR obtained an important material which contains information on supports to commodities of animal production in the old European fifteen. The Chamber tried to check the subsidiary programmes and particular supports in the given countries, however, it stoke against a proof information embargo.

Decision of ÚOHS on bakery amalgamation is cognizable

Agrofert of an entrepreneur Andrej Babiš has not appealed against a decision of the Antimonopoly Office about permission of rise of the biggest Czech bakery. The decision on takeover of United Bakeries is cognizable. A chairman of the Office for the Protection of Competition (ÚOHS) Petr Rafaj said it to ČTK today.

Owing to new rules for piggeries pig meat will rise in price next year

European farmers are in danger that they will not manage to switch to new rules for pig breeding. It will have similar consequences as in eggs price of which rose in March to as much as triple. Pig meat can rise in price due to it minimally by ten percents from January.

An agricultural enterprise První zemědělská a. s. was established in Tuněchody. With its acreage it belongs among medium-sized firms. It manages 1575 hectares. The main activity of the enterprise is growing of cereals, above all of food wheat on 350 ha, ergot rye on 200 ha, also rape on 350 ha, sugar beet and marginally also potatoes.

Cattle slaughter decreased almost to half in south Bohemia

Cattle slaughter in south Bohemia in the first quarter year-on-yearly decreased by 45.6 percents which is the most in the country. It results from data of the Czech Statistic Office.  South-Bohemian breeders export cattle for slaughter in Austria and Germany where they get paid for better and without delays.
