Producer of animal feed Vafo buys German firm Allco

A producer of domestic animals Vafo Praha buys a majority share in German company Allco. Besides strengthening of position on German market Czech firm will enlarge by this acquisition it portfolio with a feed for decorative carp. A purchase price of the share were not been published. The firm informed ČTK about it in a press release today.

This year will be written in Italian history as the driest since 1800. An agency ANSA informed about it with reference to the Council of National Research (CNR) today. According to this state organization it was raining by about a third less than in foregoing forty years.

At once three new viruses were discovered by a team of virologists from a Biological Centre (BC) of the Academy of Science of the CR (AS CR) inside cells of fungus Sodiomyces alkalinus. Not only it is dealt with a relatively unusual combination of viruses, but also with the first viruses at all found out in fibrous fungi growing in extremely alkaline environment.
