The government negotiated a Report about financial means security for realization of instantiation of measures contained in a Report about ways of solution of unsuitable situation from a view-point of the environment in Moravian-Silesian region today. The Ministry of Environment on base of requirement of the Chamber of Deputies elaborated a Report about financial means security for realization of instantiation of measures (further only “Report”) contained in by the government already approved Report about ways of solution of unsuitable situation from a view-point of the environment in Moravian-Silesian region.

Constant rains torture also animal, they are tired-out

Floods prepared a cruel suffering not only to people but also animated nature. The Region Liberec is one of few in the Czech Republic where despite low buy-out prices of meat and milk the number of cattle increases. While to the 1st of April last year farmers raised 43 808 pieces of cattle here, this year it amounted 44 656 to the same date which represents an increase by 1.7 percents. A number of cattle has increased also in the region Zlín, Pilsen, Karlovy Vary and in the Central Bohemia; other regions have shown a decrease. Generally, the number of cattle year-on-yearly has decreased by one percent to 1 349 286 pieces in the Czech Republic.

Commission tries to reduce fishing quotas for 2011

The Commission within determination of fishing quotas for the next year tries to find a balance between sustainability and stability. The European Commission has officially opened debates on fishing quotas for 2011 and submitted a report presenting which priorities its proposal for fishing reduction prefers. The Commissioner for Fishing Maria Damanaki supports stricter determination of fishing quotas. There are some fears that the present fishing level is too high for preservation of fish populations.
