The Ministry of Agriculture successfully spends European subsidy in a project Fruits and vegetable in schools. It can use also money determined originally for other member states which didn´t managed to spend them.

Jurečka: European Commission wants CR to return 810 million crowns

The Europeam Union ask the Czech Republic for returning of 810 million crowns owing to insufficient check of keeping of endowment rules betwenn 2010 and 2013. The Ministry of Agriculture is going to protect legally, the Minister Marian Jurečka (KDU-ČSL) said at today´s press conference. The have been already paid to farmers, however, according to the minister, they will not have to return them.

Number of Czech foods with protected marking EU doesn´t increase

A number of Czech foods which have protected marking at the all-European level has stagnated for the last two years. The reason is non-helpful approach of the Industrial Property Office. It was stated by the Food Chamber at a press conference today. Food producers want to solve the situation with the management of the Office and with the Ministry of Agriculture.

CR part of checking plan of EU for honey and fish

Taking and laboratory analysis of generally ninety samples of honey and one hundred and sixty three samples of fish in the CR in 2015 was co-financed by the European Union. The check was realized in the framework of a coordinated checking plan (KKP) of the EU for the mentioned commodities.
