Ministry of Environment opens public consultation to proposal of State environmental policy

The public can express their opinion to a proposal of new State environmental policy to the 26th July 2020. It is conceived for years 2020 to 2030 with a with a 2050 horizon.

Huntsmen avoided stricter control. Solution of overpopulated game is postponed

Huntsmen pushed forest owners. A last year´s amendment of law on game management will not come in force; instead of it the government passed a different amendment. According to it huntsmen will not be under so strict supervision of the state administration and they will continue to agree on hunting overpopulated game only with the owners of hunting grounds

Tropics are not expected, next weeks will be rather colder

Nor next weeks will bring tropics, however, even in the warmest forecast period temperatures will touch maximally 28 centigrade. It results from a long-term view of the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute (CzHMI). It is possible that Friday´s heat wave was the last for some time.

Coronavirus increased interest in turkey meat from firm Prominent CZ

Coronavirus increased interest in production of company Prominent CZ that is the biggest processor of turkey meat in the Czech Republic. However, a subsidiary company ZOD Brniště in the region Česká Lípa in connection with the infection had to further tighten hygiene measures in its food business.
