AGRIS 2005 prize awarded

At the occassion of the conference on Information systems in agriculture and forestry a competition for the AGRIS 2005 prize - „The best applications for agriculture, forestry and countryside“ was announced. The competition target was to award excellent projects, which have significantly contributed towards the development of information and knowledge society in rural areas.

Awarded applications:

- SITEWELL LPIS for an original application supporting e-Government development in the Czech Republic (SITEWELL Ltd.)

- „System of presentation of a rural interest group“ for the development of information society in rural regions (Iniciative for hunting in modern society ČMMJ club (Czech and Moravian Hunting Union).

- PREFARM MapServer for an innovative model eCollaboration in agriculture (MJM Litovel Plc.).
