Vegetable got cheaper although price differences are great

When buying vegetable in shops or stalls in Most district it is possible to save money significantly. Price differences at individual sellers are huge, it is possible to buy onion for mere 5 CZK, while it costs 10 CZK somewhere else. A customer can save some dozens of crowns when buying white pepper. A private farmer´s stall placed outside in Budovatelská avenue in the centre of Most town offers almost all the kinds of vegetable at a higher price than others. White peppers could be bought for 90 CZK per kilogram, cucumber only for 48 CZK, tomatoes for 68 CZK and onion for 10 CZK. It is exactly 35 CZK cheaper to purchase white pepper at greengrocer´s in Holešovická street in Litvínov.

World Day of the Environment gets closer

„Green cities: Plan for the Planet!“ such is the topic of this year´s World Day of the Environment, which is held on 5th June every year. It has been reported by Karolína Šůlová, a spokesperson of the Ministry of the Environment Czech Republic, adding that for this occassion the UN Information centre in Prague and the Ministry of the Environment are going to organize a press conference on 3rd June 2005 from 9.30 a.m. in Prague (Kinských sq. 6, Prague 5 Smíchov, 2nd floor). After the end of the press conference minister of the environment, Libor Ambrozek, will award selected Czech companies with the trademarks of „Environmentally friendly product“ in the premises of the UN Information centre.

If you don´t follow the rules, you will lose subsidies

Once the subvention has been granted, an applicant doesn´t terminate his / her duties. Every successful applicant for subsidies is bound to regularly provide information to appropriate authorities and perform duties, which he / she assigned to. If they break the rules, they will lose the subvention.
