Proposals of new subsidies were approved in frame of Operational Program

A monitoring committee of the Operational Program Rural Development and Multifunctional Agriculture headed by a representative of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Czech Republic (MZe) resolved at the last negotiation last week on an enlargement of measure 1.1. Investment in agricultural property by a new investment intention which will include a reconstruction and development of store capacities for cereals and oil plants and technologies of postharvest adjustment of cereals and storage of cereals and oil plants. It was reported by Martin Severa, a spokesman of the MZe.

Amendment of act on agriculture restricts conditions of enterprise

A shadow minister of agriculture for the ODS, Jiří Papež, suggests to refuse completely the proposal of amendment of act on agriculture. He claimed it in negotiation of the amendment in the Chamber of Deputies. According to Papež, ‘from the novel one can feel an obvious effort to restrict agricultural enterprise, especially for physical entities.’ He keeps in mind among others also other regulation about impeccability which a potential interested person can forfeit for example in a traffic accident. ‘As almost a scandal’ Papež considers the article 7 in § 3g which is proposed in the law in an resolution of agricultural committee as an item No 17. ‘Here a land owner is completely forgotten again and a minister, if he acquits a user’s plea, would communicate his/her standpoint only to a user.’

MZe still did not pay last-years dotation to ecological farmers

Some farmers managing in an ecological way found themselves in economic difficulties. The Ministry of Agriculture has not paid them the dotation for the last year yet. The authority promised already in April to pay the money, however, some farmers have not received anything yet. In today’s news it was reported by the television Nova. MZe promises to pay it in several next weeks. If the situation is not resolved, it could mean a bankruptcy for many farmers according to the TV Nova. “At presence we do not have money for leasing and wages’ , Petr Houdek, a private farmer, said to the television. He is about to get a dotation 3,3 million crowns. According to him about one thousand of farmers have not received the dotation yet.

SVS: Don’t use bice green to treat fish

In the CR in a list of veterinary preparations there is not entered anyone with a content of bice green which would be determined for animals considered for human food. It was stated today by a spokesman of the State veterinary Administration of the CR (SVS), Josef Duben, in a reaction to the fact that two cases happened in last week in the CR when the state veterinary control prevented from an introduction of in-such-undesirable way treated fish in the market network. The bice green is for its dangerousnes a subject of veterinary checking in the CR and the EU.
