France was fined for fishing.

European Court of Justice punished France by 20 million euro fine (604 million CZK) for it, that allows fishermen to unrespect European rules of tenable fishing. High Court of EU connected this sanction at the same time for the first time with extra triple higher penalty payment, which will be took out after every halfyear, when France will not adhere to the rules. "Court for the first time directed to member state pay periodic penalty payment and lump-sum fine for serious misconduct and lasting non-performance legislative," said the court. Regular six-month penalty was fixed term on 57,8 million euro.

Levels of flooded rivers are decreasing.

After several days of pouring rains calmed the weather and levels of rivers, which have culminated at night, now decreased. The river levels increase mostly in the south Bohemia. On Monday achieved rivers the second and the third degree of flood activity. The third degree, so threat, has been already canceled on Malše in Pořešín and Kaplice and on little river Černá in Líčov. Hydrometeorologists suppose, that some stream will decrease on the lowest degree today morning. Somewhere will the rivers return to normal state. Upper Malše river culminated from 20:00 to 21:00. Blanice river then roughly about one or two hour later. The levels of Malše, Černá and Blanice river are still degreesing.

European credits direct to regions.

A part of new strategy of European Investment bank are direct borrowings to regions and bigger risk toleration, said vicechairman of these institution. Pardubice region got credit to road repair (30 million euro). It is the first direct loan from EIB to region, which is in new member state. Plzeň city got credit 15 million CZK for water-supply engineering moderniation. It is result of new strategy, which was approved by governors in EIB 7. June 2005 and whose part are milder criteria on credit local and regional authorities in all of European union.
