Experts dispute about power source
Coal-fired power stations serve out and experts dipute about which new sources shoud be built up in next years in our republic. Ecologists promote renewable sources, savings, gas power stations; The Ministry of Industry promotes a new nuclear power plant and the ČEZ preferes rather coal-fired power stations. The hit is hydrogen. With which shoud be replaced serving-out coal-fired power stations? Opinions of this problem solution differ considerably. „As the most perspective we consider renewable resources - energy from wind, sun, water and biomass. We do not consider them as marginal at all; according to our prognosis they should secured 17 percents of power consumption till 2030“, says Martin Kloz from the Ministry of Environment CR.
Farmers don´t like prices
Farmers has finished the first stage of harvest. The harvest of perennial barleys ends and unfortunatelly, presumptions have been confirmed that yields will be less by about twenty percents. While in the last year farmers harvested 4,6 tons of this product, this year it will be less. The harvest was already influenced by the May weather. „This year is not ideal for cereals and the May drought affected the yields. It is valid especially for farmers managing on light soils. On loamy soil in Bernartice and Zahořsko regions yields should be about three and half tns from a hectare“, said a charmain of the Country agrarian chamber Václav Varous.
