According to MŽP money for conservation of nature lack in proposal of budget

The Ministry of Environment (MŽP) after subtracting money for common European projects should get 4,03 milliard crowns from the state budget for the next year. It is by two percents less than Libor Ambrozek´s office has disposable this year. Therefore the Ministry asks for an increase. Beside hundreds millions for conservation of nature money will lack also for example for building of rescue centre for animals attached at the airport in Prague Ruzyně, he claims.

Exhibition Země živitelka will introduce 520 firms, more than last year

This year´s 32nd year of the international agri-salon Země Živitelka (Earth Breadwinner) will introduce 520 firms from 20 countries. More exhibitors than last year will come to the South-Bohemian metropolis, in 2004 there were 497 firms. EC: Risk of importation of bird flu in EU is low

The European Commission refused warning of Russian authorities agains a possible importation of the disease in Europe by means of migrationg birds. According to the European Commission expansion of bird flu in Russia does not represent a serious risk meanwhile for countries of European Union. Union experts pointed out that probability of importation of the disease in EU member countries is very low.
