Agricultural budget for next year nears to 40 milliard

By the government approved budget of a chapter of the Ministry of agriculture CR (MZe) for 2006 will be 38,5 milliard crowns plus 1,2 milliard crowns shifted to the Operational program. The Minister of Agriculture Petr Zgraba said it in an interview for Agris. In practice it means that compared to last year the resort will be better again by several milliards.

Zgarba wants functional system of bio-spirit support from 2006

During September the Ministry of Agriculture CR (MZe) wants to put forward own material at government negotiation, concerning a system of supports of bio-spirit production in the CR. Petr Zgarba confirmed it. He noticed that he wish so that the system could operate from the beginning of next year. However, according his words, there is need to adopt, except a framework prescript, also many other implementary regulations not only in action of the MZe. “With goodwill it could be realized during this year”, set Zgarba.

Chairman of ÚOHS will examine growth of petrol prices

A chairman of the Office for the protection of competition (ÚOHS) Martin Pecha invited representatives of five the most important distribution companies of fuels at a proceedings on Friday the 9th September. A division of communication ÓHS informed about it today and reported that Pecina would ask, during the meeting on a seat of antitrust office, for a comprehensible explanation of reasons for an uncommon fast growth of petrol prices and diesel oil in recent days in our republic.

All feed producers are subject to obligatory registration since the 1st January 2006

The Ministry of Agriculture CR (MZe) draws the attention to a new duty to register of productive operation of all operators of feed enterprises, including basic industries. A manager of comminication division MZe Pavel Kováč informed about it today. According to his data the mentioned duty, set to the 1st January 2006, results from EC regulation No. 183/2005, on feeds hygiene, and continues so called food law of the Community. “The aim of all resulting measures and conditions is to secure a control of risks and safety of feeds for farm animals whose products become foodstuffs.
