Farmers from Nošovice did not came to an agreement with officers, they want compensations

Farmers from Nošovice in Frýdek-Místek region did not accept any of offers of eight localities which they got last week from a regional authority as a compensation for their pieces of land in a planned industrial zone for a South-Korean automobile factory Hyundai Motor. Farmers want now to negotiate about compensations. The ČTK was said it after negotiations at the regional authority by a chairman of an agricultural cooperative of owners in Nošovice Jiří Vícha. According to him the negotiations with the regional authority will continue on the 7th November. A vice-hetman Pavle Dobil believes that both sides will come to an agreement finally. There are not completely solved property relations in Nošovice. The consolidation of pieces of land for the zone is inhibited there by a roughly half-hectare zone of field on which a local cooperative Nošovice grows cabbage.

Valašské Meziříčí has obtained European subsidies for ecological projects

A town hall in Valašské Meziříčí in the Vsetín region has obtained almost 14 millions crowns from funds of the European Union for projects aimed especially at a use of renewable energy resources. For the money the town will purchase for example solar collectors for a local bathing pool and will work out a study solving an improving of air quality. The ČTK was informed about it by a spokesman of the town hall Josef Beneš.

More than fifth of 2000 projects succeeded in frame of SROP

One of reasons why only a mentioned amount project was selected is a fact that the selection is limited by financial means, with which the Common Regional Operational Program (SROP) disposes. Applicants from the whole republic have proposed over 2500 projects to a so called Common Regional Operational Program by the help of which the EU supports a development of enterprise, infrastructure and travel movement in the CR regions. In total it is dealt with applications for 42 milliard crowns. It results from a negotiation of a monitoring committee of the Common Regional Operational Program at which a report about its state was brought forward.

Also hypermarkets in SR sold spoiled meat

Also sellers from some Slovak hypermarkets repacked meat after passing an expiration date and offered it again for sale. “I consider it as a hazard and deceiving of a consumer. It is a misuse of trade chains”, said the Slovak Minister of Agriculture Zsolt Simon in the first reaction. Inspectors of the State Veterinary Administration found out the biggest faults in department stores Carrefour, Billa, Tesco Stores and Metro. 192 inspectors were engaged in the October control. From 313 checked supermarkets and hypermarkets they found faults in 45 cases.
