Ministry of Agriculture CR enlarged extraordinary measures in connection with “bird flu”

With effect from Tuesday, 1st November, 2005 from 0:00 the Minister of Agriculture Petr Zgarba orders a following extraordinary measure by reason of a danger of importation of highly pathogenic avian influenza caused by the virus A of a subtype H5N1 in area of the Czech Republic.

Extraordinary meeting about restitution stop will take place in Parliament on Tuesday

Representatives should negotiate about a shift of so called restitution stop at an extraordinary meeting on Tuesday. The opposite ODS asked for calling the meeting. Already in half of July it proposed a novel which shifts the restitution stop from the end of this year to the end of 2009. ODS tried to range a prolongation of time when entitled persons can stake their restitution claims to the agenda of October meeting unsuccessfully.

Appreciated farm of the year 2005

Recently a ceremonial of enunciation of results of the IV. year competition ASZ CR Farm of the year 2005 took place in a negotiation hall of the Parliament. This year the winning farm, which beside a moral appraisal obtained also a financial valuation in height of one hundred thousand crowns, is the farm of Veselský´s family.

Miloš Michlovský´s Pálava obtained gold prize in the most prestigious vine competition of the world

Pálava of the year 2002, a grape selection, the vine region Mikulov, the municipality Perná, the front lane Purmice, the producer Vinselekt Michlovský. That is the “address” of the wine which as the only representative from the Czech Republic obtained a gold medal in the biggest and most prestigious wine competition MUNDUSvini. Jiří Janoušek, a medial representative of the appreciated vine producer, informed about it today.
