In last years other smaller firms stopped production, e.g. a cheese manufactory in Velký Valtinov and in Rovensko pod Troskami. According to Jiří Teplý from the Agrarian Chamber for Liberec and Jablonec, the decrease of processing plants is connected with hard competition in the branch and also with strict conditions of European norms, for fulfilment of which some dairy works had not money.
