Mládek: agrarian supports will grow by 5 milliard
The total volume of supports in agriculture should grow in next year roughly to 35 milliard crowns in comparison with the last year’s 30 milliard. It results from calculations of the Ministry of Agriculture. A share of basic dotations – direct payments – is about 15 milliard crowns and according to the Minister of Agriculture Jan Mládek after a national evening-up they should reach about 63 percent of a level in old EU member states. With a growth of supports also a dependence of farmers on dotations increases. With decrease of domestic agricultural production and a stagnation of agricultural prices a share of dotations in the total branch incomes grows.
WTO will stop to finance agricultural export
Member states of the World Trade Organization (WTO) approved a declaration today which counts with an abolition of subventions for export of agricultural products till 2013. The Agency Reuters announced it. The declaration opened a way to larger agreement about liberalization of the world trade in frame of so called Qatar round of trade negotiations A support of export of cotton should be finished already next year and the poorest countries should be enabled an accession on world markets till 2008.
Nošovice are already free for Hyundai
Last two from six previous willful land owners in Nošovice in Frýdek-Místek region signed agreements on sale of pieces of land for an industrial zone with Moravian-Silesian region on Friday evening. Právo was told it by a phone call of an owner of nine-hectare land who signed the contract as the latest. “Finally there will be a quiet”, he said. It was confirmed also by a press agent of the regional authority Šárka Swiderová. The industrial zone in Nošovice is now united for an expected building of huge car factory Hyundai. The South-Korean company prefers from the beginning just Nošovice for placing its investment in Europe.
Dairy work Kunín penetrated with products in Finland
North-Bohemian food company Dairy work Kunín signed a new export contract in Finland where it has never sold its product yet. The firm has begun the export in this northern country and it promises itself that it will export al least 1,5 million pieces of product yearly to Finnish customers. At a press conference Zbyněk Gebauer, a general director of the dairy works confirmed it. He added that the firm will open the third year of its supplies in Sweden next year.
