They did not fulfill demands of Union that's why they stopped production
The Company Drůbež Příšovice stopped production. A reason for that step is neglecting of veterinary and sanitary requirements of the European Union. In spite of these requirements should by fulfilled by enterprises processing animal raw materials already in term of the CR accession in the EU, the company in Příšovice has an exception with a condition that it will adapt to RU norms till the end of 2005. However, this condition has not been fulfilled. A company which has not a permission to slaughter poultry and to process the meat has already closed also its shops.
Minister of Agriculture has approved adjustments of Operational Program
Since the eight round of acceptance of applications for supports from the Operational Program of Agriculture new adjustments of Rules for applicants are in force. Tomáš Loskot, a spokesman of the Ministry of Agriculture CR (MZe) informed about it and added that the Minister of Agriculture Jan Mládek approved the adjustments after they had been negotiated and approved by the Monitoring Committee of Operational Program Agriculture. According to Loskot, the adjustments concern mainly enlargement of acceptable expenditures in frame of sub-measure 2.3.2. Breeding of water animals - aqua-culture. “For example investment in building and modernization of store-ponds, a purchase of transport means which are not determined for transport of people, and purchase of small mechanization for maintenance of ponds will be newly acceptable.
