Water is away, government agreed on aid
Municipalities and regions will wait to see money after several postponements for renewal after spring floods. The government passed a renewal strategy for a territory afflicted by spring floods. It approved a release of five milliard crowns for removal of flood damages and the ministers also agreed with rules according to which the money will be allotted. The money will be easily available for municipalities which will not have to pass their requests on regions, but will get subsidies directly from the state. Among the main priorities of renewal of the territory afflicted by the floods belongs, according to the government, a renewal of basic infrastructure, i.e. road network including damaged bridges, a renewal of sewerage and sewage disposal plant.
The Parliament passed low on tighter import of wastes in CR
Obviously state organs will be able to impose a fine as much as 50 million crowns for illegal waste import in the Czech Republic. The Parliament decided on it today when it passed an amendment of act on wastes together with proposals of senators. The present fine for illegal waste import is maximally ten million crowns. The proposal has to be signed by the president.
Czech people lead in number of hypermarkets in the central Europe
The highest number of hypermarkets, i.e. shops with sale are over 2500 meters squared belong in the central Europe to the Czech Republic. The slowest development is in Poland were almost six hypermarkets fall on one million people. It results from an actual study of the company ACNielsen. The most money is spent in hypermarkets by a third of Czech customers. It is a little less than a year ago when 35 respondents marked themselves as a loyal customer. Reasons, why to buy in hypermarkets as Globus, Tesco, and Kaufland remain, according the study, the same as last year. It is mainly easy accessibility, a wide offer of goods, and small distance from place of residence. According the study results, these characteristics are for consumers even more important than a low price or good service.
CR government decree on European resources in 2007 – 2013
The Government of the CR approved allotment of financial means of structural funds and the Fund of Cohesion among operational programs as a starting point for negotiations with the European Commissions on the National Strategic Referential Frame and operational programs and for working off the final versions of OP.
