Meat and smoked meat producers in capture of European prices
In the period of coming summer season which uses to be among others connected with roasting and barbecuing of meat, sausages, brat-wursts and other meat delicacies we are witnesses of a certain price movement. Prices of pork and beef meat, and meanwhile in a smaller rate also prices of meat products, start growing gradually on counters. The Czech Union of meat processors and its particular members are often asked whether this trend only reflects an effort of producers to profit from increased seasonal sale or even from the situation in poultry farming which fights in the area of sale with significant problems caused by bird flu.
