At the end of September data on pollution will be published

Enterprises polluting the environment owed the duty to disclose already for the second time total data over 2005 in an integrated register of pollution till the half of February. Jakub Kašpar, the director of external communication of the Ministry of Environment CR (MŽP) informed about it today and added that the Ministry had elaborated these data, so there are no obstacles to publish them on internet pages to the 30th September. The public will be given information again on how concrete enterprises pollute water, air, land and whether they produce chemicals in wastes.

Company Xavergen has opened operation of the biggest brooder of meat chickens

The plant can produce as many as 80 million one-day chickens yearly. The company Xavergen belonging in the group Agrotrade opened this week operation of the biggest inland brooder of broiler chickens destined for meat production. Investment in operation, which is situated in the premises of former brooder in Habry in Havlíčkův Brod region, cost roughly 200 million crowns. The company operating at present also the brooder in Uherský Ostroh manages production capacity of 105 million one-day chickens yearly. This year it supposes production of 80 million chickens, however, gradually it wants to close to full use of its possibilities.

Backery will release thousand people

Due to fusion of leaders of bakery market of firms Odkolek and Delta Pekárny more than thousand of employees will lost their job. The united firm will close six from present eighteen inland daughter plants. „From four tousands of present employees maximally three thousands will stay here. We have no other possibility to rationalize the production“, Marko Pařík who together with his brother Jaroslav controls the group confirmed it. The antimonopoly office permitted the fusion to bakers this year in February after more than two years of requests. The groupment Delta-Odkolek is obvious Czech one. With eight-billion takings it controls roughly quarter of market.

Hurricane Florence passed Bermudas

Other this year’s hurricane – Florence – passed the main part of Bermuda islands. However, there is a threat of heavy rains and huge waves. Florance did not hit directly the main island; it just passed its west coast. American National Center for hurricanes in Miami in Florida announced it today. According to speed of winds Florance is ranged in the first, the lowest from five categories of hurricanes. Specialists assume, though, that after passing Bermudas it can strengthen and can be ranged in the category two. That includes hurricanes winds of which exceed speed 154 kilometers per hour and which can cause damages of middle range.
