Cause “toxic waste” is solved by European Union

Estonia detained a boat in its port which imported waste in Abidžan at the beginning of month. The local police together with the EU opened an investigation. Estonian offices ordered the boat Probo Koala on Wednesday, which is in the background of the export of toxic waste in Ivory Coast, not to leave the port Paldiski until the police investigation will be finished. Estonian procurator ordered the investigation on Wednesday after tests showed presence of toxic chemicals aboard. “The boat was detained and police investigation was opened”, the procurator Piter Seman declared for the agency Reuters.

Monitoring of eggs from various breedings

Examinations did not prove an influence of breeding way on egg composition. Nevertheless, influence of feed enriched by n-3 fatty acids and iodine. Eggs which occur on market are differentiated according to way of breeding and according to some important components (for example omega-3 fatty acids). In Thüringen examination of eggs from three large-scale breedings was realized. Always 30 eggs were taken from two cage breedings, three breddings on bedding, and two free breedings. Hens were fed conventionally in five breeding; in two feeding contained either added docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) or linseed oil and potassium iodide.

Interest in coal and wood grows every year

Some people burning wood or coal at home have got already full cellars. Winter is coming and number of those who converted from gas to solid fuels in boilers has increased. Demand for fuel is higher every year and interested people started to store up sooner and sooner. The highest interest appears traditionally in September. “We have nothing at this time in store. As soon as we got a supply of coal, it is sold in several days. We have been receiving orders since summer”, said Martina Lopraisová from Hodonín firm Kovosteel. It still files approximately twenty orders which wait for liquidation and maximally one month the situation will not be different.

Český ráj is plundered by treasure seekers

With shovels, detector of metals, and screens self-appointed pickers of archeological findings set off in rocky towns of Český ráj. The pickers then sell the found objects on black market. According to conservationists it is dealt with plundering which does not have analogy in the past. Moreover, the pickers leave damaged nature behind. In selection of localities they act to the tourist map by J. Waldhauser in which localities are charted. Therefore conservationists patrol in endangered localities day and night.
