Shops can sale their reserves of detergents with phosphorus

A regulation, which limits sale of detergents with content of phosphorus, still enables shops to sale their reserves. It results from the interpretation of Ministry of Environment. Detergents for washing of textile with concentration of phosphorus higher than 0,5 % of weight must not be marketed and from the 1st October 2006 it must not be set afloat. In practice it means that from the beginning of July producers can not sale detergents with higher content of phosphorus to distributors and nor it is possible to import them. From the beginning of October than distributors can not sale these detergents to shops. They only can sale their reserves bought till the end of September to common consumers.

Owing to milk the Czech Republic has to pay fine 150 millions

Exceeding of quotas for milk production will cost the Czech Republic dear. The European Commission informed that for breaking European Union limits it will have to pay a fine of almost 150 million crowns. The Czech Republic produced by almost 17 thousand tons of milk more than the norm permits. The sanction should be covered by farmers who exceeded the allotted limits. According to information of Hospodářské noviny (HN) about fourteen hundred farms have to club for the fine, so roughly a half of all bigger agricultural firms. “Overwhelming majority of entrepreneurs has already transferred the fines to our account. We will pay the Union in time”, said Vilém Frček, the spokesman of the State Agricultural Intervention Fund, to HN.

Czech food-producers refuse Brussels rules

Food-producers dislike that the European Union has introduced in some endowments small and middle businesses as exclusive receivers. They also criticize that they have strived for a support of marketing in markets outside the EU already for two years. The European commission in many cases sets rules disadvantaging new member states. That was reported by the president of Food Industry Chamber Jaroslav Camplík at meeting with journalists. Moreover, information has appeared that Brussels wants to reduce the possibility to support promotion of foods from public resources which would concern the mark of quality domestic foods KLASA.

Lesy will announce tenders behind schedule

During this week firms cooperating with Lesy ČR will finally wait to see. The state enterprise will probably announce expected selective procedures. František Koníček, general director of the firm confirmed it to the daily Aktuálně.cz. According to his words it is dealt with very serious problem therefore it is necessary to iron out all details connected with accepting the tenders. “Therefore we provided the Ministry of Agriculture with other details and data so that it could acquaint with the whole problem in details”, said the spokesman of Lesy, Tomáš Vyšohlíd.
