Říman: ČR can produce eight percent of green energy till 2010

In opinion of the Minister of Industry and Trade Martin Říman (ODS) the Czech Republic can consume eight and maybe even more percents of energy till 2010 which originates from renewable resources. Thereby the state would fulfill its engagement towards the European Union. Last year a share of so called green energy moved around 4,5 percent. Increase of energy consumption obtained from renewable resources will be dependent on sufficiency of quality projects and the demand. However, the green energy should not become a fad; the engagement does not have to be fulfilled at any cost. Říman said it to journalists at the exhibition Infoterma in Ostrava today.

CR made significant concessions in obtaining EU subsidies for sewage plants

The Czech Republic compromised significantly with the European Union when it tried to obtain subsidies for four water-management projects at the end of last year. Originally there was a threat that Czechs will be deprive of almost 1,7 milliard crowns, however, finally the money have been received successfully. Nevertheless, still it remained secret that it was at the cost of several big concessions. ČTK has got to known of their existence from credible resources and it has disposable also in a written form. However, the former Minister for Local Development Petr Gandalovič, who leads now the agricultural resort, does not agree with that the CR would have compromised significantly.

Tlustý proposed ecologic-damage bonds for 163 bil.

The former Minister of Finances Vlastimil Tlustý proposed a change of way of financing of state ecological bonds at the year-end. He wants to obtain practically 163 billion crowns, which removal of last ecologic damages will have required by the year 2015, by a one-shot emission of bonds. According to the original proposal of the minister's officers costs for sanitation should be pent gradually from a state budget. A daily Euro published it in its Monday issue.

To heat with bio-mass is not only ecological but also it has its indisputable advantages

Recently there is a rumour still more often and more loudly about adequate use of bio-mass as a fuel. The term bio-mass can be found not only on pages of technical papers but still more often also in newspapers. Biomass can be defined as a mass of organic origin, so all what grows and lives. Generally it is dealt with a completely renewable resource which can in its natural way produce annually such an amount which would be sufficient for production of all today-consumed energy. In context of energetics we understand the biomass as an ecological fuel and we bear in mind most often wood and wood waste but also plants and other agricultural products or rests.
