Lesy CR started to remove calamity in afflicted areas
An identification of wind calamity will be finished in organizational units of Lesy of the Czech Republic during this week. Lesy CR continues in removing works in the most afflicted areas. Especially it is dealt with making accessible forest roads and forest facilities, reparations of fences of preserves and marking of risk areas which are dangerous to life for public.
Farmers can be deprived of as much as 650 million CZK from EU fund this year
Farmers can be deprived of as much as 650 million crowns from the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development this year if the present Minister of Agriculture Petr Gandalovič (ODS) does not change a decision of his predecessor Milena Vicenová. She stopped preparations for start of the Rural Development Program which is financed just with the EU money. At a press conference Tuesday evening after negotiation with representatives of ČSSD it was reported by the president of Agrarian Chamber Jan Veleba. The Czech Republic can spend in 2007 - 2013 from this EU fund 2,8 billion Euro (78 milliard crowns).
Conference dealing with unfavourable demographic development takes place in Brussels
In September last year the European Parliament passed strategic general principles of the Community Strategic Guidelines on Cohesion, proposed by the European Union in summer 2005. Structural funds should offer almost 350 million Euro for a large-scale variety of policies, endowed through direct investments and indirect supports (payable grants, payments etc.). Three main flows of subventions will be aimed at an area of personnel matters and problems of labour market, to improve infrastructures, and to support innovations (including research, technology development etc).
IEA listed chart of main generators of greenhouse gasses growth
The International Energy Agency (IEA) listed a chart of countries generating the most of carbon dioxide which is considered as one of the worst generators of the present climatic changes; and also rate relations for approximate determination how much a common human activity contributes to a rise of this main “greenhouse effect”. The IEA study is a part of special groundwork for a conference of non-governmental group of experts which should negotiate on further possibilities of reduction of climatic changes from the 29th of January in Paris, the AFP agency wrote.
