The Ministry for Local development (MLD) published on its web sites Principles of the program “Support of Rural Renewal” (SRR) for providing dotations in 2007 (file number 2939/2007-72) Thereby Principles for providing dotations from a budget chapter of the Ministry for Local Development in frame of the Program of Rural Renewal from 1997, updated by 8 supplements (last time in 2005 with adjusted name subprogram Support of Rural Renewal) were cancelled.

SAIF awarded support for sugar refineries closure to Eastern Sugar CR

A support from the EU restructuring fund belongs to the company Eastern Sugar CR for closure of three inland sugar refineries. The State Agricultural Intervention Fund (SAIF) decided on it as Vilém Frček from a press department of SAIF reported to ČTK. The awarded sum is 730 Euro (about 21  000 CZK) per a ton of the quota for sugar production of which the firm will relinquish. In the total it is dealt with more than two billion crowns, a part of which should go to growers.

Hurricane in South Bohemia caused damages for at least 4,25 milliard crowns

According to preliminary estimations the January hurricane caused damages for four and quarter billion crowns in South-Bohemian region. ČTK was informed today by Maria Ptáčková, a spokeswoman of the Regional office. Foresters suffered the biggest losses; the windstorm damaged wood for about 3,5 billion crowns. The region reckoned the consequences of windstorm bluster for 150 million crowns.

Jiří Holický (TZ LCR) were introduced in function of general manager

On the 9th of February 2007 Ing. Jiří Holický, the present director of Regional Inspectorate of LČR Karlovy Vary, was introduced in a function of general manager of the state enterprise Lesy CR. He will work in this function by the time a regular selective proceeding for this position will have been performed. “The selective proceeding will be announced as soon as possible; however, at first it has to be properly prepared”, Petr Gandalovič, the Minister of Agriculture reported.
