Radegast changed bottles and handed over bequest to next generations

These days a brewery Radegast ends to distribute its products in classic beer bottles and it replaces gradually this type of packaging by a new one - a modern type of bottle. The brewery will need about 20 million of them in the first stage. At the same time the trademark Radegast changes containers and labels. The last old bottles with beer Radegast served as a bequest to future generations. Together with articles documenting the present and messages of personalities it was saved in Nošovice land.

ŽDB Group collect waste and useless equipment from people in Bohumín

A company ŽDB Group collect a dangerous waste and useless electro-equipment from inhabitants of Bohumín. People can hand over for free for example old TV sets, medicines, waste oils, accumulators or fluorescent tubes in a collecting yard of the enterprise Rolling-mill, steel works and recycling all the year round. The enterprise that transport the collected waste and time-expired electro-devices in other specialized firms which get applicable raw materials from it and they hand over the rest in incineration plants, Tomáš Želazko, a spokesman of ŽDB Group said to ČTK.

Domestic animals do not have to run on road

An amended law on communication over land contains in § 60 provision (in point 11) that “owner or holder of domestic animals is obliged to prevent from running of these animals on a communication over land”. Josef Duben, a spokesman of the State Veterinary Administration drew attention to that today. According to his words it means that non-existence of this provision in the past led to the fact that many cases when a car crashed into an animal were not affected according to traffic regulations. It could be dealt with a breach of provision of the law on animal protection which sets a duty to a breeder to make steps against an escape of animal. Now an expert's report and review of bodies of state veterinary inspection are not necessary because it is dealt with a breach of the law on flow of traffic on communications over land.

Spring for Earth 2007 - ninth week

A campaign Spring for the Earth 2007 starts already the ninth week. Again we offer a view of actions which wait for us. We would like to draw attention especially to the Week of sustainable development which starts on Monday in Prague and the Cyclo-conference starting on Tuesday in Velké Karlovice.
