Gandalovič reputedly says untrue information in his press declaration

A crisis in forestry-timber branch still last; yesterday’s negotiation didn’t bring any concrete result. He declares it in his today’s reaction to information of the Ministry of Agriculture CR on results of Monday’s negotiation of the Confederation of Forestry and Wood-processing Unions (KLDS). Neither yesterday’s negotiation of the Minister of Agriculture Petr Gandalovič with representatives of KLDS, the Czech Association of Entrepreneurs in Forest Management and the Association of Entrepreneurs in Forest Management about commissions for forestry works which the state enterprise Lesy of the Czech Republic is going to advertised in next days did not bring any concrete result. Till this time still no acceptable solution of trade model of sale of wood in state forests have not been found out.

Minister of Agriculture negotiated with representatives of forestry entrepreneurs

The Minister of Agriculture Petr Ganalovič met with representatives of the Confederation of Forestry and Wood-processing Unions, the Czech Association of Entrepreneurs in Forest Management and the Association of Entrepreneurs in Forest Management. They negotiated togeth er on commissions for forestry works which the state enterprise Lesy of the Czech Republic is going to advertised in next days. In frame of the negotiation the participants looked for an acceptable solution of a trade model of sale of wood in state forests. According to representatives of entrepreneurs in forestry management an ideal model for forestry firms would be such on which base the firms, won the competition, would trade all 100 percent of state wood. On the contrary Lesy CR, s.p. promotes a model in which it would trade a half of wood itself.

Bursík will be negotiate with EC on water-management projects

The Minister of Environment Martin Bursík received full powers from the government for negotiation with the European Commission (EC) on EU subventions for water-management infrastructure. In 2005 applicants from the Czech Republic submitted several project to the European Commission concerning water-management infrastructure on which realization they demanded 1,5 billion crowns from the Cohesion Fund. However, the projects have not been passed. The general management for regional policy refused to pass the project application because “the applicants closed with operators of water-management infrastructure such contracts which do not correspond to a v alid law of the European communities”. Above all a thorn in a flesh was lengths of contracts among towns and municipalities and operators of water-management infrastructure which were closed for 25 years or for an indefinite period of time.
