President of Food Industry Chamber CR resigned his function
The president of the Food Industry Chamber CR (ACH) Jaroslav Camplík submitted a resignation to his function because of health reasons to the Executive Council of the Chamber to the 30th June 2007. A manager of the Department of Communication and External Relations of ACH, Zbyněk Boublík, informed on it. The Executive Council of Chamber accepted the resignation of president Camplík and thanked him for his work in favour not only ACH but also the entire food industry, and it entrusted the present vicepresident Ing. Emil Kasper with representation of the president of ACH CR.
It is not necessary to be afraid of bird flu but caution is needed
So, also our republic has to face what have experienced also surrounding EU member states – the occurrence of bird flu in poultry breeding. That the disease has been confirmed also in a case of died swan is an evidence of presence of causer of infection, the virus of aviar influenza, somewhere in environment. It is proved also by a recent occurrence in neighbouring Germany. Therefore also yesterday, on the 28th of June 2007, Milan Malena, a central director of the State Veterinary Association CR, imposed an extraordinary veterinary measures which aim to, except effective measures in the focus of infection, eliminate a possible spread of this disease.
Statement to protest of Agrarian Chamber

Decision making on concrete subjects which supply their products in the network of shops Interspar is always motivated by our effort to offer customers the best quality goods in a complete assortment and in sufficient amount. Interspar as quality-focused chain can not act in other way. It concerns meat supply as well as all other kinds of goods.
Huntsmen monitor health state of wild bird
In connection with the occurrence of bird flu in region Ústí nad Labem huntsmen monitor health state of wild birds. Jiří Šilha, an entrusted worker of the Czech-Moravian Huntsman Union (ČMMJ) for media communication informed on it. According to him this activity is connected to an agreement on cooperation of ČMMJ and the State Veterinary Administration CR (SVS) from the 6th June 2007. Huntsmen secure in terrain a basic monitoring of occurrence of especially sensitive kinds of birds and they will help to realize measures which SVS will suggest.
Money for rural development at arm‘s length
Prague – The European Union allotted for rural development for member state big money which particular entrepreneurial subjects can obtain by means of projects. The Czech Republic has certain experience with drawing financial means for project of the program Sapard from which food-industry and agricultural operations were modernized. “The program EAFRD determined just for rural development only starts and good advices are above rubies”, says Jaroslava Nekvasilová from the Agrarian Chamber CR who organizes educational seminars.
