It is not possible to save on foods

Producers and processors expressed the same opinion at a press conference organized by the Agrarian Chamber CR focused on meat and milk prices. Also entrepreneurs who manage significant processing firms say the same. Neither this year´s good harvest of cereals will beat down prices of feeding mixtures and on the contrary they will go up which will reflects especially in meat and milk prices.

A part of a Plan for non-legislative tasks of government of the Czech Republic for the 2nd half year of 2007 and a List of subjects-matters suggested as a perspective for a Plan on non-legislative tasks of government of the Czech Republic for the 1st half-year of 2008 (enclosures for government decree from the 25th of July 2007 No. 849) which concerns the Ministry of Agriculture and which contains 7 non-legislative task for the 2nd half-year of 2007 and 11 non-legislative tasks for the 1st half-year of 2008.

Hemp returns to Czech fields

There is a field near Příbram which gives a misconception of possibility to obtain cheaply drug from marihuana. Technical hemp was almost a nightmare for Václav Říha from Chraštice in the first year after sowing because young people were confounded by the hemp determined for other purposes and the police checked several times whether someone did not sowed unobtrusively another kind of hemp with necessary content of drug inside the field.

Evaluation of the 1st round of Program of Rural Development

In frame of the fist round of the Rural Development Program (RDP) 1 326 projects were received. A directress of the communication division of the Ministry of Agriculture Ilona Chalupská informed on it today. According to her acceptance of applications terminated on the 20th of July in seven regional divisions in the measure I.3.2. Opening of activity of young farmers and on the 27th July for remaining two measures. The biggest interest was in the measure I.1.1.1. Modernization of agricultural enterprises, in an intention a) buildings and technologies for animal production. For this intention 678 projects were registered. The most of applications (341) were received in the Regional division SZIF in Brno.
