Experience with liquidation of bird flu

In spite of the first attack of bird flu in domestic commercial poultry raisings is already under control, the State Veterinary Administration appeal to a necessity of permanent prevention and consistent observance of zoo-hygiene in raisings. In connection with aviary influenza in two raisings of duck 380 000 birds had to be killed.

Prepared changes of law on waters

We are again at the beginning and it is necessary to take a serious think of efficiency of operation of the water law. Possibilities to use waters and duties connected with it are governed by the law No. 254/2001 Col. on waters and on a change of some laws (water law) subsequently amended. For a special problems of water supply and sewerage, relations of their owners and operators, relations between them and consumers a single law No. 274/2001 Col. on water supplies and sewerages for private need and on a change of some laws (law on water supplies and sewerages) subsequently amended was adopted.

European Commission permitted support of combined transport

The European Commission took a decision several days ago whereby it permitted implementation of new subsidiary program for combined transport in the Czech Republic. The division of external relations of the Antimonopoly Office informed on it today. “An aim of the program is to develop a combined transport and so reach a displacement of transportation of a load from a road transport to other kinds of transport”, said a vice-chairman of the Office for the protection of Competition (ÜOHS) Kamil Rudolecký.

Eco-film will be projected also in Cinematotrain

On Monday the 8th of October other year of the oldest European international competition of films on environment EKOFILM 2007 starts in South Bohemia. Films on the topic of environment conservation will be projected also in the Cinematotrain of České dráhy. A spokesman of Dráhy Ondřej Kubala informed on it today.
