Yesterday's round of negotiations on wine market reform were dominated by finances

A principle of so called national envelopes, so distribution of financial means determined in particular member states for specific areas of restructuring of wine market, their expenditures for promotion in third countries, a proposal to shorten time of stumping, and again problems of sweetening - it was a contents of yesterday's negotiation on a reform of wine sector at the Council of Agricultural Ministers and fishery of EU in Luxemburg.

SZIF pays supports for LFA

The State Agricultural Intervention Fund (SZIF) sends today first money to accounts of applicants for subsidy for farming in less favourable areas (LFA). Vilém Frček informed on it and added that in total it is dealt with 2,8 milliard crowns which will be paid to more than 10 thousand farmers. These financial means are paid in frame of the Rural Development Program 2007-2013 approved by Brussels. The resort of agriculture is the first one which succeeds in spending financial means from EU resources already this year.

Alcohol will rise in price due to finances and bio-fuels

Alcohol will be more expensive from next year. So, if an amendment of act on consumption tax passed today by the government does not change. Hereat, it as a part of a parcel of three laws connected with an intention from the next year to admix bio-spirit in motor fuels. The amendment of act on consumption tax increases at a flat rate a provision of so called tax stock from original 20 million crowns to 40 million and in case of operating more tax stocks than an increase from 60 to 120 million crowns.

Portal of farmer offers complete data on milk quotas

The State Agricultural Intervention Fund (SZIF) enlarges again its service for agricultural entrepreneurs. Vilém Frček, a spokesman of the Fund, informed on it today. According to him milk producers, respectively holders of milk quotas in the CR, have a new application at “SZFI Portal of Farmer” available from today.
