MZe will present on 12 fairs
In 2008 the Ministry of Agriculture of the CR (MZe) will introduce its exposition in total on twelve actions. A spokesman of MZe Petr Vorlíček informed on it today. Particular exhibitions and fairs were chosen, according to his data, with regard to strengthen for-export policy of the ministry and at the same time to enable participance of significant production and trade firms of agrarian and food sector. Externalization of foreign marketing of MZe stems mainly from trade-political interests of the CR in agrarian sector and from aims of agrarian diplomacy. A substantial view-point is an interest of firms, unions and organizations from foods and agricultural sector which is determined by means of consultations and an inquiry investigating an interest of firms in presentation on concrete international fairs and exhibitions.

Disallowed red was “archive”
Recently forbidden colour E 128 red 2G revealed in Lovecký salami and salami Vysočina came from an old batch. Other batches and other products were in order in the producer Vysočina a.s. Hodice. The Regional Veterinary Administration for the Region Vysočina realized a thorough investigation in the salami plant in Hodice and a result? On base of revision of batch archives it was proved that only one batch was objectionable, just the one which had been distributed to Slovakia. An origin of content of disallowed red is most likely caused by a mixture of used spice. Subsequent checks and checks of other products did not prove a presence of disallowed red E 128.
