State found 200 millions for support of domestic foods

A project of marketing support of quality inland foods marked with logo KLASA can continue next year. As a chairman of agricultural committee of the Parliament Jiří Papež reported for Aktuálně, the committee approved an amendment to a budget of the Ministry of Agriculture which counts on 200 million crowns for promotion of KLASA. It is a similar sum as the one determined for promotion in last two years.

People return to solid fuel

Still more people from South Bohemia heat their family houses with wood or coal. A return to solid fuels they reason with high prices of gas and electricity. The cheapest raw material to heat also this year is wood; it price is the same as last year. In comparison with the previous year people interested in fuel-wood do not have to count on long delivery dates. Saw-mills and sellers have enough wood after the January hurricane Kyrill.

Limitation of salt content in meat products

Plant components of foods which influence health of consumers. During last years consumers ask still more functional foods which are suitable also from point of view of food safety. It is not possible to process meat products completely without salt. Salt is necessary for many body functions, is essential also by reason of slat taste of finished products.

State will not make up money to municipalities which they will not get for sewage plants from EU

The state will not make up money to municipalities for building or renewal of sewage plants if owing to too long contracts with private water-supply companies they will not reach European money. it will depend just on a length of contacts for how much money municipalities will be able to ask. After today's negotiation it was announced by the Minister of Environment Martin Bursík.
