Spending European subsidies: Absolute failure

Even if Ministries produce continuously optimistic reports haw successfully it is negotiated about programs for spending 700 billion crowns in 2007 – 2013, a fact is that delay of the Czech Republic increases. Daring visions on hundreds billion from the European Union which have been brought for the first time by the premier Jiří Paroubek are not successfully fulfilled. Political instability and disability of Prague officers to came to agreement with Brussels colleagues is blame for it.

SZPI forbade sale of children snacks containing pesticides

The State Agricultural and Food Inspection (SZPI) forbade sale of children snacks by a producer Linea Nivnice; they contain excess amount of pesticides. The snacks were produced from strawberry pap originally from Spain which contains permitted amount of pesticides. “However, norms for production of children nutrition are stricter and limits for pesticides are manifold lower, a spokesman of SZIP Martina Šmídtová said to ČTK today. ČTK investigates the producer’s expression.

Farmers will get up to higher support for liquidation of cadavers

Pig breeders will get higher support from the state for liquidation of dead animals, so called cadavers. The Minister of Agriculture Petr Gandalovič who wants by this step to help breeders to solve burdensome situation in the branch decided on it today. The minister decided on detaching 75 million crowns from a MZe reserve. According to him the money will be used to increase financial limit of subsidy program No. 8, so called “Infection Fund”, concretely for support of harmless liquidation of cadavers. The height of contribution will moved around 2,90 crowns for kilogram of cadavers.

Government will negotiate novel against speculators with land

Reduction of speculative purchases of agricultural pieces of land in management of the Land Fund CR is the main purposes of parliamentary proposal of amendment of act which will be negotiated on Monday session by the government. A spokesman of the Ministry of Agriculture CR (MZe) Petr Vorlíček informed on it today. A main novelty in the proposal and a weapon against speculators is introduction of duty to make a deposit before start of process of land sale.
