Butter for 60? Just vice-versa, it should dramatically cheapen
To spread butter on bread, it could be soon much cheaper affair than it is now. A price of butter has significantly decreased in neighbouring Germany whereas, according to prognoses, the fall of prices will continue. It is reported in the newest publication of food-industry magazine German Lebensmittel Zeitung. According to the magazine at present 250 g package of butter is now sold in some German trade chains for 50 cents, so less than 15 crowns. “Almost nobody wants to buy butter, the market is overfilled with butter from Poland, the Czech Republic and Belgium”, German press informs.
Health food = better results in school
Obviously the biggest investigation in the field of children nutrition and food as it has been realized in the Great Britain in the meantime has included more than 10 000 pupils at the age between 6 and 16 years and it has compared aspect of their boarding and behaviour, of school results, score SAT and health generally. Christmas carp in danger. EU ordered to protect birds
As much as thirty-percent fall of domestic production of freshwater fish, so above all carps, threatens in south Bohemia. That in case that new protected bird areas would be established in two localities on the place. Their foundation is urged by conservationists. Hereat, the Czech Republic has been officially called on by the European Union. However, the Ministry of Agriculture does not agree with establishment of bird areas in the extent required by Brussels. It does exclude nor legal process.
Austrian doctor wants ecological tax for numerous families
A professor Barry Walters from West-Australian University brought a non-traditional proposal for reduction of carbon dioxide (CO2). He called upon Australian government to impose “a children tax” on parents who have more than two children. A family should pay 5000 Australian dollars (78 000 crowns) for every third and other offspring and also other 800 Australian dollars (12 500 crowns) yearly through their life for outplanting of trees which will compensate the amount of carbon dioxide produced by their “redundant” children.
