Guardian: World gets warmer, trees absorb less CO2
Ability of trees to fix anthropogenic carbon dioxide weakens, the daily Guardian wrote. Scientists found out it by an analysis of data collected over last twenty years from more than thirty localities in cold northern areas. The findings published last week are principal. The more carbon dioxide people emit, the more will end in the atmosphere and it will influence the climate instead of to be safely stored in trees or land. These results can partially explain recent studies which indicated that the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere grows faster than it was expected. If plants absorbed less oxygen in higher temperatures, global warming would accelerate itself, Guardian reports.

Agricultural will be reputedly profitable this year
We are at the beginning of a possible rennaisance of Czech agriculture, Jan Veleba, the president of Agrarian Chamber (ACH) CR says. In his opinion this year could be better than the last one which was, according to farmers, successful. Agricultural profit over the year 2007 should be about 10 – 15 billion crowns. If a harvest is good in 2008, according to Veleba a result could be even better. Farmers the growing gains ascribe above all to growing takings for commodities whose prices significantly grew last year.
