CR can finally export pig meat in USA

Our processors have finally a possibility to export pig meat and products from pig meat in the USA. As Josef Duben, a spokesman of the State Veterinary Administration CR (SVS) informed today, it results from this year's February decision of American Ministry of Agriculture which SVS received in these days.

Parliament did not approved contact den hunt; animals will be separated with grill

Hunting-dogs will not be able in training to come in contact with hunted game. The Parliament did not approve an amendment of act on protection of animals against torture today. It means that the present state will stay conserved and a fox will be in a training den separated with a grill from a dog. In last months the Parliament twice passed such a version of pattern which in fact removed the grill separating a dog and a fox. At first representatives voted in such a way last year in December. For the second time they supported the contact den hunting in February when they outvoted the Senate which had returned the novel to them just because of den hunting. For the third time the mentioned question was taken vote on today because the novel was returned to the Parliament after the Senate also by the President.

Parliament will negotiate a novel of water law in second reading

The Parliament will negotiate in the second reading a novel of water law. As Petr Vorlíček, a spokesman of the Ministry of Agriculture, reminds, an aim of the novel is to make significantly easy a realization of flood-protection measures. “I am very glad that the Parliament supported the proposed novel already in the first reading. It is dealt with a very important adjustment which should make easy a building of flood-protection measures. The area of flood-protection is very important and we have to pay an appropriate attention to it”, the minister Gandalovič says to it.

Tradesmen: Sale of low-cost products grows due to prices of energies

Growing prices of energies opened for tradesmen a new business with low-cost products. For example in offer of trade chains domestic appliances with a low energy consumption or products serving for saving of heat and water have still bigger representation. Although energy-saving domestic appliances are often more expensive than products with higher consumption according to specialists they start to be in great demand in the Czech Republic. For example department stores with furniture IKEA recently report an increase of energy-saving light bulbs which in comparison with common light bulbs are able to save as many as 80 percent of electric energy and have ten times longer lifetime.
